TABLE 158 PHOTOGRAPHY
For railway photography around Dorset, the surrounding counties, and beyond.
"I have to admit that the technical side of photography has never really 'bitten' me ... For me, one of the greatest pleasures of railway photography has been when I have discovered some enchanting new location and then set about trying to get the most attractive picture of the scene." Ivo Peters

A rare sight on todays railway, and even back when they were a 100-strong fleet of locomotives. A pair of Class 60s hauling a revenue earning train
on the Berks & Hants route was never really a common site with the advent of Class 59s, in fact did it ever happen 'back in the day'? Here DCR grey 60046 William Wilberforce leads Cappagh blue 60028 past Bedwyn with 6Z60 10:13 Willesden DCR Sidings - Merehead, 60046 being on-test leading to this rare sight. Perhaps even more incredible another DC Rail Class 60 No.60029 Ben Nevis had just passed moments before going the opposite way working 6Z52 06:25 Tytherington - Wembley Yard loaded stone train.
